There are a variety of eligibility guidelines specific to each rebate. Please review all program requirements (PDF) before purchasing equipment or applying for rebates.
For all window rebate submissions, the invoice must include the U-Factor rating for the installed windows to verify program eligibility. The U-Factor may be documented on the invoice, or applicants may provide a photo of the window sticker showing the NFRC rating label or a specification sheet that includes the U-Factor details.
The invoice must clearly indicate the quantity of windows purchased and installed.
Submissions that do not include both the U-Factor rating and the window quantity may be delayed in processing or deemed ineligible for rebate consideration.
- The property must be serviced by CenterPoint Energy of Indiana, Inc. (“CenterPoint Energy”) under an active residential account.
- Homes must have CenterPoint Energy natural gas or CenterPoint Energy electric as the primary heat source to be eligible for this rebate.
- Window must have a U-value less than or equal to 0.25.
- Windows must be purchased between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026.
- Installation must be completed between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026.
- The application must be submitted within 60 calendar days of installation to be eligible for a rebate.
- For new construction projects, builders must submit applications and supporting documentation within 60 days after building inspection and approval and/or issuance of a certificate of occupancy.
