There are a variety of eligibility guidelines specific to each rebate. Please review all program requirements (PDF) before purchasing equipment or applying for rebates.
- The property must be serviced by CenterPoint Energy of Indiana, Inc. (“CenterPoint Energy”) under an active residential account.
- Home’s primary heat source must be fueled by CenterPoint Energy natural gas or electricity.
- Homes with natural gas as primary heat source will receive $800 rebate.
- Homes with electricity as primary heat source will receive $2,000 rebate.
- Installation must be completed between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026.
- The application must be submitted within 60 calendar days of installation to be eligible for a rebate.
- For new construction projects, builders must submit applications and supporting documentation within 60 days after building inspection and approval and/or issuance of a certificate of occupancy.
